will it fit? help please
hey everyone i just got some 19's off of one of my friends, he has a g 35! so i know that the bolt pattern is the same and the rim size is 19x8 front and 19x9.5 rear! the problem is the off set is 20! im guessing that the front is ok, but the back will it fit? as it stands the tire size is 35 all around. also i have tien basic coilovers, so i can adjust the height as needed. if the rear wont fit will rolling and flairing the fenders work? and if this is the case does anyone know anyone in nyc or the surrounding area that can roll and flair the rear fenders?:stfu:i know that i dragged the question out but i really need some advice!

That's an aggressive offset for a 4th gen. Here's a shot of my car with 17x9 +34 wheels. Stretching the tires would help, but they are going to stick out. Your front will be out 1mm more than my setup and the rear will be out 20mm more.

you don't have to repaint if you heat the paint and do it right. to me theres nothing ghetto about it, under the right circustances. if it was a q, m, s14 etc i'd say do it. but the max is fwd. rediculously wide agressive offsets just don't go. sell them and use the money to buy something that fits better.

Sell those rims, buy something that fits proper. Unless you really like them, then do what you need to, to make them fit. Even if its going to cost you more than you want...just save up until you have the cash. Or if its not worth keeping those rims, sell them and get different ones. Not much you can do.
Good luck,

Correct you are, unfortunately are 4th and 5th gens have no camber adjustment in the rear, otherwise you could easily fit them with a modest amount, stretched tires, and rolled/pulled rears

are you nutz???, roller wont do crap $hit for you. maybe extra 3mm of clearance. those wheels can be had very easy in proper offset. so why bother? they will stick out way too much in front and a lot in rear too.
please post pictures of quarter panel crushed and bent after you hit a bump.
get it ?

got it! thanks! so i guess i'll get some new back tires and sell'em! now as far as me doing it right the next time around, what do you think would be the better offset to get for a staggered set up on the max? preferablely 19x8 front and 19x9.5 rear?

thats not my car its fast1one's. my car will be VERY lowered on jic coilovers as well as being rolled, and possibly slightly pulled, with a mildly stretched tire. imo perfect fitment is being able to set the lip of the fender on the lip of the wheel, not tucking. its a little more difficult to achieve on our cars because we don't have rear camber but it can be done.
i don't need a 9.5 in the back, but it fills out the wheel wells. 8.5 +30mm is a good offset too, but i'm talkin about perfection.

For some reason I got the sizing wrong, those wheels really are not that aggressive, your looking at 15mm of poke in the rear, 10 in the front which is perfect IMO, run 235s in the rear, 215s front, I think you would be fine with a 40 aspect ratio all around, yes its stretched, but they will fit with rolled fenders...POSSIBLY slight pull in rear if your slammed..
I need to wash my car and get better pics to do my car justice, I will probably swap to coilovers soon and kill most of the wheel gap
Then again, looking at Mr****s car, doesn't look bad at all with a kit..HMMMM

thats cheating. ha ha jk, sick wheels. i'm gonna take my wheels to the body shop pretty soon and have them test fit without tires or suspension. that way he can jack the wheels up to the fender and do whatever he needs to do to make it 100% flush.
