I am considering replacing my stock P215/55-R16 tires with either P225/55-R16 or P225/50-R16. Anyone who has done this can you let me know what size you went to and how you liked the results? How does the car handle in deep snow with the wider tires? How does the car look?

They will be fine, but i would stick with the stock width, it's a better size

Thanks for the feedback, what are your reasons for sticking with P215? I still have not decided if I'm going to P225's.

in my opinion I just think that 225 is more suited for a 7 inch wide wheel. On the 6.5 wheel in general there is a bit much sidewall flex, I just don't like the way it feels when you go into a sharp and or difficult corner. You get a more stable feel sticking with a 215 55 16 size.

I ran a 225 50 16 on those stock rims and i ended up not being particularly happy with it.

I did not really think of that, makes sense. It's good to be able to benefit from some else's experience instead of having to find out the hard way for yourself. Thanks!
