Tire size question...

have stock 04 se 18's

i know the correct tire size is 245x45x18 but you cant get falken azenis rt-615's in that size

i can get 245x40x18, and 255x40x18 because of the reduced sidewall size would i be better off with the 255?

I wouldn't go 255 on that OEM wheel. Use the tire calculator in the stickys for better size relation, etc.
