Volk racing TE37

Well i have a good opportunity to pick up an even LIGHTER set of wheels. This guy wants OZ superleggeras conincidently in my size and offset is almost right.

He has White volk TE37s in 17x7.5F and 17x9R. I plan on keeping my tires though, stick with the same size all the way around. But im wondering if someone could possible to do a photochop of them on my car? Im not sure what white rims would look like on my color. Not sure if this is even the right forum, but i figure since it has to do with wheels id post it in here.

Also, with it being 17x9 +40 in the rear would i have any rubbing issues. id be running 235/45/17.

I tried using one of those offset calculators, but it said considering my wheels now are 17x8 +40 it would only stick out an additional 5mm, considering the rears, are 1inch wider.

You will be fine in the rear...

I'm not sure how they would look, but TE37s are sexy, so you can always paint/powdercoat them

fitment would be fine like previously stated but a color change would definitely be in order.

but if you change your mind after you get them i would possibly be interested in purchasing them from you.

Shouldn't rub but 235 on a 9 wide rim is to small get atleast a 245 if not 255

Yeah. I think im gunna try pawn 2 of my 235's off on someone, then pick up some 255/40/17 or something nice and fat Nothing beats the stance, even if it is a bit of a detriment to handling.

Haha there really nice, white im not too sure, but getting them powdercoated/refinished in gun metal with a polished lip would look pretty sexy.

What colors do you guys think would look good? Im thinking all Gunmetal or maybe try a polished lip lol.

I vote for keeping the TE37s a single color, not really a "lip" wheel. Fully polished would look trick, would not be cheap I'm sure. You could run the 235 on the rear (I ran some 225/45s on my 9s for a while) problem is the rears will look streched and the fronts won't. I think you will need a larger tire in the rear to make it look right, 255/40 would be a nice fit.
