will these fit?

im looking into getting some 5 zigen gn and i was wondering if they would fit on my 6th gen? the size is: 18x8.5 and 18x9.5. i know i should be ok with the 18 x 8.5 but im just wondering if i will have any problems with the 18 x 9.5 rubbing. my car is not lowered but i may lower it in the future. also what size tires should i be running for both those sizes? thanks in advance

Offset is way too high, 6th gens have more room then us 4th gens I believe so they would be sunken in, don't bother.....

Are you sure about that?

My guess is that they may be flirting with the strut. One way to do it is to get your stock offset/width #'s, and plug them (stock offset and width values) into the offset calculator located in the sticky on the top of this sub forum page, THEN, plug in the new wheel stats and see what values show up for clearance. THEN go get some actual measurements (distance forms strut to tire/wheel) and see if the numbers add up(i.e. verify that you will have enough room). My guess would be that that the rear is too wide and the offset is a bit high, which may cause it(tire) to rub on the strut. Better safe than sorry.

I'm pretty sure. I thought about that after I posted though. I believe on the 6th gen's there is more room away from the strut because of there independent suspention. Even if it does fit it is deffinately not a reccomended size for the car. Will not look good

+1 to checking the offset calculator.
