off set question

ok i have found a set of wheels i would like to buy. they are tsw estoril's i want to get a 17x8 and fit a 235-45 tire on them. for our bolt pattern i have two offsets to choose from it's either a 20mm or 40mm i was just curious which would be the best for our cars. right now i have the G35 17" coupe wheels on and i have the 17x8 in the front and i really like the look with the 33mm off set and i'm not sure if the 40 would be too much or not. any input would be great. here's a pic of the wheels

I already have an offset thread running in the Wheels/Tires section. Might want to check there. Good info.

In order to be flush on a 5th gen without having to go staggered, you will need spacers that will effectively make your rear offset 20 -25mm, and your fronts about 30mm.

It's discussed in Deckdout2's thread too.
