I have a fith gen that is lowerd with tein springs I want to put 20 on it I was just wondering if they are going to fit right with out rubbing. The size of the rims are 20 by 8.5 please can some one let me know

 

a little old but you can run 20's on your set up. Just make sure your offset is right. Go with a 35mm offset or so and call it a day. Tires should be around 245/35/20's. Any larger sidewall and you may have issues

 

The answer to this question depends on the offset.

 

What about 38mm offset?

 

20 x 8.5 +38mm will not rub using a 245.

 

They will rub any good looks or hope of being quick your car had away.

btw, just to clarify, i was "blah blah blah"ing the "big wheels are ugly and make you slow", not the "will these 20s rub" (which deserved a "blah blah blah" of its own).

mine didnt rub until i lowered it on H&R 1.4 in the front, when i turn the wheel. other than that its coo it looks so much better
