Clearance Issues?

Hey, I am planning on buying some Work rims soon. The rims are 17x8 +47mm offset. Will I have any trouble running these rims? Any need for spacers? Also, what would you guys recommend for tire size because my max is pretty slammed right now. Any help appreciated
thanks,
tim

That offset is pretty high, so you may run into clearence issues on the inside. I doubt it though.

They will be sunken battleship status though. I would go with 15mm spacers for the front and 25-30mm for the rear for them to look clean and solve any possible clearence issues.

As far as tire size, 235/45 sounds about right.

indeed you could but unless its a superb deal i would just buy something with better fitment out of the box.

spacers are expensive and annoying, just do it right from the start.

the only reason i'd get spacers is if the wheels weren't available in close enough fitment (and i really liked them), or just for the rear so i could run identical wheels all around and rotate the tires.

Were you looking on honda forums? +47?! lol
+1 just keep looking for the right size. If you're going with 8" width, you should get at least like +35 offset.
