Rim size/fitment question

I'm looking at SSR GT7-H rims in 19" for my 2002 SE, and I really like how they look in light grey. Problem is, tirerack only offers them in silver in the sizes/offsets made for the maxima, however they do have them in light grey for the 350z and other vehicles. I searched for pictures, and one of the members here had them with a 40mm offset and they look perfect. (same offset/size offered for the silver ones that are made for the maxima on tirerack).
The light grey ones come in the following specs: (front/rear)
19x8.5
Offset: 31mm
Backspacing: 5.91" Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size:225/40-19
Weight: 22.1lbs.

Offset: +25mm
Backspacing: 6.16" Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Rec. Tire Size:245/40-19
Weight: 23.4lbs.

I'd rather not get a staggered setup, so I was wondering if it would be OK to puchase two sets of the front rims only...the bolt pattern is exactly the same as for the maxima, only the offset is lower and the backspacing is different. Would this be a good idea? Or should i just go with a staggered setup?
Edit: Lowered with Progress/illuminas, would spacers/rolled fenders be needed for either setup?

first of all don't go by tire rack's website system. it filters out a lot of possible matches... call direct. if they don't have the size you need go elsewhere.

for non-staggered the 8.5 +31 sounds good.you should be fine with the mild drop. spacers are almost never required, they are usually for cosmetic purposes. rolling fenders isn't hard/exspensive.

Staggered should be fine.

youre welcome.

run the 19x8.5 +25et all around. or is it 19x9.5?? you dont have a size listed here. im guessing it is since you mentioned this is a staggered setup. but either way, 9.5 +25 would be most preferrable if you want flush. dont run that weak +31et offset i wouldnt worry about backspacing at this point unless youre running a bbk. for the most part, 350z sizing fills our wheel wells pretty nicely; staggered that is. if youre going to run a 245/40 on progress, id probably consider rolling the fenders but you wont know until you slap on the wheels/tires and drive.i'm not familiar with 5th gen fender gaps and spacing so you're on your own on that one. dont run spacers if you're planning on getting aftermarket. its weak. get the wheel in the right offset.

otherwise, if you dont want a flush or aggressive stance, run the normal 8.5 +31et size.
