5.5th Gen SE tires on GLE rims?

I was looking for good tires and found out Toyo Proxes 4's were very good for a new choice.
the stock size on my 5.5th GLE is 215/55R17. I looked Toyo's website, and it turned out there was no 215/55R17 for Toyo Proxes 4.
I know SE models use 225/50R17's, and the Toyo Proxes 4 has this size.
I wonder if 225/50R17 will fit on the GLE rims?
thanks.
btw, will 235/50R17 fit, too?

The 225's will fit, but the 235's might be pushing the limits of that rim.

yeah, 7.5' is recomended for 235's, I think, I'll go for 225's since they fit.
thanks for confirming.

I looked into owners' manual saying that the SE wheels have 45mm offset, the GLE wheels have 40mm offset. would this be a problem of rubbing?

Offset is just the distance from the hub, to the center of the wheel, not tire. Saying that, it should not rub.

Sorry for the delay.

I just realized smaller positive offset means the tire is actually further away from the wheel hub.
