bead blasted wheels, need some advice

i had my aluminum alloy wheels bead blasted and now i have the textured finish i want, but not the shine. I shop tech recommended i sand the rims to shine them up, but won't that remove the texture and make them smooth??

i want to retain the texture of the bead blasted wheel but shine the wheel back up to a dull shine. how might i accomplish this?

don't know if you can see that well, but this is the current state of the wheel and the texture on it.

Like matte? I would just spray some clearcoat to make it "shine" a little bit.

no its matte right now, the easiest way i can describe it is shiny like a coke can. not polished lip shiny.

its like when you strip the paint off an aluminum wheel, the paintless wheel is about the shiny i'm going for.

i probably made no sense, but it is 1:16 and i'm sleepy.

low luster clear should give you the effect you're looking for.

clearcoat and some duller would work. mix and spray. if youre good with the gun you can also have your clearcoat have texture. ive done it before and it came out fairly nice.
