Hankook tires any good?

Thinking of buying used All Season Hankooks... for my 2001 Maxima ae.

Anyone tell me if Hankooks are any good... they come stock on some Fords and cheaper cars. Not sure of the "model". Thanks!

They're decent tires from what i've read. A have an 02 Infiniti i35, and i just picked up a set of all-season Nexen n5000, and if you're looking for an all around, performance/all weather tire, i suggest u give these a look. On top of that, you cant beat the price. If you shop around online, you can get them as cheap as $65 per tire.

I was a bit sceptical at first. I went to a few local tire shops looking for new tires, and every one kept recommending the Nexens. I've never heard of them, so i just brushed off the suggestions from shop owners. That night i went home and did some research on the tire, and the positive reviews highly outweighed the negative reviews (which were very few). The next day i went and had them installed for $400 out the door. Its been over a week, and i have absolutely no complaints. Both dry and wet traction is great, and even driven with good results in the snow. Much better than the rediculously much more expensive bridgestone turanza's that came with the car.

I would say that Hankooks, Khumo, and Nexens are in the same league as far as tire quality goes.

Good luck with your purchase.

I can't speak for their entire line, but the RS2 was a great autocross and summer tire. Quality was excellent and grip was outstanding. Hankook has more of a reputation in motorsports and isn't as well known for "regular" cars yet...

this video I'm on Hankooks...they take some abuse

I had some on my Armada (20's) and they were ok. They lasted about 30K. I had a really hard time keeping them balanced for some reason even when i did the road force balance.

If you just plan to use them for certain seasons or just for short periods i would say they will be fine. I wouldnt expect the best from them them.

I have had them on my 02 altima 3.5, there good except one was damaged and got replaced under warranty. But i would recommend kumho ecsta asx. It's one of the best all seasons i have tried. And decent price also.

I've had the RS2 and H405's for racing and they were fine. As Irish said they're much more known in motorsports like the MX-5 cup. All-season speaking they're just a big Korean import with decent price/performance tires.

def not bad for the price, ive had a set of nankang, wanli, and hankook tires before, all 3 sets are decent tires for the price. If road noise and comfort are your thing, then I would go for a more expensive tire. But the performance for the price is a great deal. I personally dont care about road noise because I drive with my windows down 80% of the time im in my car.

I would say they're fairly decent for the price. A good choice for a tight budget I must say.

I've run a set on hancook MT's and now a set of all terrains on my Ford F350. I hace nothing bad to say about them. Never had a problem with balancing or wandering all over the road.

Yeah I have hankook tires on my 08 max and I couldn't be more happier with them. You should invest into them bc there a great buy for your dollar and I promise you I wouldn't tell you go out n spend your money on them if they were bad Tires. There awesome. Very comfy ride to them and good for sharp fast turns.

Put the H727 on my girl's car. They are supposed to be one of their better all season tires. Not sure of your driving style but Hankook's website says they are more gears towards luxury sedans. The H418 is more geared towards performance, and the H724 delivers the "best value".

The H727s are ranked #1 out of 24 in their category on tirerack.com (2.1 million miles reported total).

I have the K110's on my car. I like those too, but they are a summer tire.
