2K1 SE - 225/50 17

Pepboys is running a special on buy 3 tires get the 4th free. Mail-in rebate of course. I called them and the cheapest tires they have is Futura, so I was wondering how they compare to Kumho tires because that's what I currently have on my care right now. Thanks in advance guys.

 

Kumho is better IMO.

 

toyo??? kumo???? JUNK!!!!! yoko avid v4s's or w4's, only 506.23 for a set of 4 at cj's tire and auto. read the reviews at tirerack.com, yoko's are rated much better for a lower priced performance all-season radial. i always heard that kumo's and toyo's dont last very long cause they're stiff wall summer tires. im sure a tire store in your area could do better than shlep boyz.......

 

Untrue, it depends on the tire, you can't compare a yoko all season with a kumho or toyo summer tire. Yokos are awesome but kumhos and toyos are right there with them.

 

the w4's are an all season performance tire, i just got them and so far i like em but might upgrade to a better performance tire.

 

I workd at pepboys and the futura tires are not better than the kuhmo's in my opinion

 

Futura tires are not really that good as compared with Kumhos. I guess that's the reason why they have this buy 3 get the 4th wheel for free offer because few people would buy this brand.
