I tried on the sportmaxx 502 wheel (20s-8.5inch) and supposedly it says that they're supposed to clear big brake kits. well it didnt clear it at all. the rest of the wheel fits on the hub except the part where the caliper is located, it touches. Any idea of what size spacer I should run with? and should i run longer studs or no. And its the front

What is the offset? Even though the spoke pattern looks okay, it doesn't matter if your offset is high. The best way for your to figure it out would be to take some measurements and see how much more you need for the brakes to fit.

For spacers, generally anything more than 5 mm wide you should use the longer studs provided. Even if you have 5 mm spacers, check to see that your lugs have sufficient number of turns on the stud.

You probably had the wrong offset on the rims that's why it didn't clear the brakes. As for the spacer, I believe a 5mm spacer should do the trick.
