Must be "hubcentric." If you're looking at anything above ~5mm spacers, you should see the lip to center the wheel otherwise it's trouble because the hub only sticks so far out to fit the wheel. Don't go cheap on these parts.

this guy has some great feedback too...
- machined aluminum. no cast, no steel.
- hub-centric at the least. wheel-centric is awesome but you'll only get it with rings or custom made spacers.
- extended studs if you need more than 3mm.
- sticking to the name brands makes life easy.
ok, so my car is sitting on H&R sports, rear is 1.4" drop. the wheels are just tucked under the fender more than id want. im only gonna put spacers on the rear wheels.
that being said, would 15mm be too much if im not doing the front? will it look hokey?

15mm should be just about right to get an even stance front and rear. i know 4g better but it's similar.
here's a nice tool so you figure out exactly the spacers you need...

the inch to mm conversion was very helpful and good to know, thanks. other than that i have an idea of what's what, but that certainly is an impressive and helpful write-up
15mm in the rear alone will be okay. This is a great setup!! I'm actually going after the same setup. My wheels are 18x8 all the way arround and when I lowered my max, it seemed to be tucked in the rear a little more than I wanted. 15mm spacers will do me some justice for the rear and safe from hitting or sratching the fenders. I don't recommend anything over 15mm though.
