Quick tire size question
Hey guys,
I have z32 wheels with crappy tires and need to get new ones.
I know there are a few choices in tire size:
215/50/16 (stock z32 size)
215/55/16 (Stock A32 SE size?)
225/55/16
Keep in mind that my car is a GXE and my stock tire size is 205/65/15 and that the z32 wheels are 7.5" wide.
Which would be the best to get?

Another quick fitment question
I'm looking for a spare set of winter rims for my '97 Maxima GXE. Will the following used rims fit my car:
- old set from a 1989 Mazda RX-7
- old set from a 1992 Infiniti Q45
They are both 5 x 114.3

poster above yes both will fit though you might have issue with the RX7 wheel centerbore on the rear, guys have run RX7 wheels in the front for drag wheels though.
coolsaber, I'd go with the last tire, if not something wider.
For me, I'd probably put a 245-50-16 General Exclaim UHP on them (assuming you want good performance, but don't want to spend $180/tire for Goodyear F1 GS-D3s).

Quick tire question, hope someone can help fast
I found a nail in my tire sidewall yesterday. It s time for new tires anyway.
I found some Michelin Radial XSE 205/55 R16 Tires w/ Honda Rims on board at the Super Market
Will they fit my 98 Maxima SE with aluminum rims, N. A. ( North American ) model?
I can swear I saw 50 R16 on the ones that I am replacing.

Hi, I;m new here and am trying to figure where to ask this.
I have an 03 SE and its needs tires badly(ASAP). I plan to but them from Tire Rack and do not like the choices for oem size 225/50-17. At $98 a peice, I want to put on BFG Traction T/A T at 225/55-17. Will these fit without rubbing anything?
The previous tires were oem size Khumos and I though they sucked. Wore very fast. My wife drives this car now, so she is cautious. I don't need a sport tire.
THe old khumos overal dia was 25.9" and sec width was 9.2"
The BFG overall dia is 26.8" and sec width is 9.2". I was concerned about the extra 1" in dia.
Other options were 215/50(dia = 25.5) and 225/50(dia = 25.9). Either General Altimax HP or RT and Conti ProContact...
I have General Altimax HP on my 97 SE and think there are great.
THanks.

it would fit without rubbing just fine, might look a bit goofy though. i don't see that tire listed in that size though, and I'd say the Altimax you already have experience with is a better tire. I'd go with those.
