drag radials

any of you run these nitto nt555r drag radials? or use anything wider than a 255 on your stock rims, i thinkin of runnin these 285/35 18 nittos on my 6th gen stock wheels

I have run Nitto DRs, though not in that size (I had 245-45-17s).

There is no way in hell you're fitting a 285-35-18 on a stock 6th gen rim. None. I doubt they would ever get the bead to seal, and if they did you'd be driving on a time bomb - in danger of the bead unsealing and the tire coming off the tire on every turn. Forget that idea, if you want to run that tire you need a much much wider wheel.
