How many times to paint wheels?

How many times can you paint wheels? I bought a set of used black wheels and I would like to paint them the original color again for this summer, but I would like to paint them an anthricite color for next summer. Would I be able to paint them twice or would I run into issues when I try to repaint them.

as long as you prep them properly, you can paint them no problem.

If you want them done right and to look really good, sand blast them first and start fresh. You know Etching primer, filler primer base and clear. That's just how I do things though.

I'm kinda tryin to do this myself. Since I don't have a tank for sand blasting I think I'll take your other advice. If I find a cheap place to sand blast tho I will.

Thanks for the feedback.

At my old high school the shop had a sand blaster. Did yours?? If so, your shop teacher may still remember you
