Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus - Fuel economy?

The OEM Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires on my '01 I30 (215-55-16) are getting worn out and last night in a severe rainstorm proved rather ineffective (no road feel whatsover and slipped whenever I went near the throttle). The tires I'm most interested in are the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus after they were recommended to me by a few friends who run them on Mercedes AMG cars. My one concern is that they are going to kill my gas mileage since they're stickier and have higher rolling resistance. I've read some anectodal evidence that suggests that gas mileage declines with these tires but others say there's no impact. Can anyone who actually has these on a Maxima or I3x speak to any fuel economy impact and the overall experience with the tires? At $140/tire I want to do my research before buying.
