Need help with stance.

Ok Im contemplating on buying these wheels. I have a 4thgen and the size of the wheels are as follows, 17/18 x 8.5/9.5, 56/61mm offset. I will need to run adapter 1 inch thick. Does anybody know if that's gonna be too much? The wheels already have tires on them (stretched).

you're going to need at least a 25mm spacer

Holy positive offset batman.. I don't think those will clear your strut as is. Honestly, I would look at something that comes in a +30-35. Start out closer to where you want to be.

Your right.. They are corvette c5 wheels. And I figured with the adapter on I shouldn't have any strut clearance issues. But yea. I'll keep looking. I just wanted some input

By adapter, do you mean both as a spacer and to fit them on your bolt patter? IIRC, they are not the correct bolt pattern for our cars (5x114.3).

I think he means bolt-on wheel adapters. He's considering a 1-inch (or about 25mm) thick adapter that will adapt the C5 bolt pattern to 5x114.3mm.

With the adapter I think those offsets would work on a A33, but I have no idea on the clearance involved in on an A32.

I'm just really getting into this whole stance thing. Right now I have 18 inch evo 5's but i wanna try something new. I just hate to go and buy some adapters and the wheels still don't clear

My I35 wheel offset hero!!11one!!!

Ahh I see. The A32 is nearly identical to the A33B (scary-similar). So I think he should be fine.

I'd be interested in seeing what the setup looks like. C5/C6 wheels were never something I ever even considered because I always assumed they ran some extremely-low offset from the factory, thus making the use of adapters all but impossible.
