Looking for Tire Recommendations

I am in need of new tires for my 05 Maxima. I dont want a tire that has directional patter to them. I had a set of Yokohamas and they didnt last more than 20K.

I would like to find a tire that has a 60K warranty and an all weather tire.

Question is which brand is a good brand to go with? Michelen seem really expensive and I am not sure if they are worth the extra money compared to bridgestone, GoodYear etc...

Any suggestions and personal experience would be helpful.

What size tire are you looking for? 60k? These days, that’s quite rare. Most of us are lucky to get 20k. I’m not sure of the climate where you live, but AS tires are a joke IMO if you get any measureable snow in the winter.

And it’s advantageous in regards to the fact that if you do get snow, then it’s smart to have a dedicated winter tire. So essentially, you change tires in April and October (for example).

This keeps your treads strong on both sets of tires, so in retrospect, your tires last 20k per set, that’s about 40k, since you’re really only using them half the time.

I need 245/45/18 tires. Supposedly the Yoko's that I bought were 60K mile warranty.

We get a little snow and ice but nothing that is worth needing to switch tires for.

What tire are you running?

The reviews I read on some AS tires were outstanding even for winter driving, but last as of last year, I’d rather not chance it and finally now have a set of dedicated snow tire and a dedicated performance/summer tire.

Supposed good reviews for the snow for Continental ContiExtreme Contact, but I don’t think they have those in the size you want them.

IMO, it was ok in the snow, but nothing compares to my new dedicated snows which are Dunlop Winter Sport 3D’s. Fantastic, I was the only person (non-idiot) not sliding around last winter.

I wouldn’t even dare in my right mind even consider using what I use in the summer in snow or cold weather.

op is an idiot...directional tires can last as long as non directional tires...and if you want a good tire be preped to spend 160-200 a tire minimum

I need new wheels and tires. I'm getting 18's and after reading the reviews will probably go with Continental ExtremeContact DWS's in hopes of avoiding having to get winter tires. The tires come out to $700 for a set so that's not too bad imo.
