maxima bars

I have a set of the maxima 6 spoke wheels with the 225/45/18(2) and 245/45/18(2) even though the wheels are staggered can I go 225/45/18 on all four tires? I tried searching couldn't find an answer.

Width would help. But to state the obvious, the wider wheel, will be stretched. By how much? Depends on how wide. Width is the key here.

The wheels are not staggered. Stock width is 7.5" IIRC so a 225 would work fine.

If not staggered why come with 245's in the back? À Thicker tire but same width rim is weird.

If anything, they would stagger them up front for traction. The Grand Prix V8 actually does this.

But no, Maxima wheels or tires are not staggered, and they are 245-45-18's stock. The previous owner probably did that (225's up front) out of stupidity.
