What wheels do you run? Looking for something that looks CLEAN. Aluminum 17" 5 spoke or similar. Show me what you got.
Would like to go 17" and something that is lighter than the stock 5spoke se rim (and if anyone knows how much it weighs that would be great.)

I used to run 18x7.5" +42 hypersilver Akita AK-1's that I loved to death and looked amazing on my car but they were heavy as **** (28.9lbs each) and I needed new tires so they had to go Refer to my sig for a pic.

17's are too small for 4th gens anyway. 18's FTMFW.

I figure without a drop a 17" will look the best and not be too heavy. I don't want to sacrifice any performance with a heavy wheel.

Here:

17s they looked alright but you really had to try to get them to look good:

18s usually the fit/perform the best:

19s, **** PERFORMANCE I LOOK GOOD:

Go with 18s if your getting wheels. If had LW wheels and boat anchors honestly i couldnt notice a difference in performance. Just with the LW wheels i had some torque steer from hell.

Those were staggered and they are some serious boat anchors. the rears with 245s on them 52lbs. the fronts were about 48lbs. For DD purposes they are not bad. but as far as performance.....LOL

You guys don't understand. 18s are not going to happen. Especially with Chicago streets. 16 or 17.
Which 2000 rims?

18s are not as bad as you thing. Run a 45 profile on an 18 and you wont have any problems.

The chicago roads are worse than you think. I'll sacrifice an inch on a rim for more tire and less weight.

18's or 19's is the only way to go IMO. I rode on 19's in Nashville, Atlanta, Birmingham, Pittsburgh. Anybody from these places can tell you that these roads suck a**

Not to be a d1ck but if you think its that bad maybe you shouldn't buy wheels in the first place. Good quality wheels will not get damaged easily unless you drive like a total moron.

Aluminum wheels WILL bend easily. I"m looking for a 17" that looks good so I can keep a good fat tire AND keep it lightweight. Geez it's not like I'm asking for big huge rims to look like a (edit) driving around. I want a CLEAN look. Maybe some people don't understand that.

I know what you are thinking but im telling you, i have hit some pretty nasty potholes and have picture proof of what happened when one of my wheels smashed into a tree. Quality wheels do not bend easy. Enkei, SSR, Work, Rays/Volk/Gram light/Ro_Ja for example are all very high quality and very strong wheels. If your buying Rotas or XXRs, well no wheel size will help you there.

Its up to you but 18s generally look the best on 4th gens.

Hey man, this is the second time I see you using "mexicans" in a derogatory way.

I am mexican, and do not have big fukcing wheels...
