i had 17's from 03 max on my 4th gen, i live in Brooklyn and roads are killer. not that your gonna damage your rims with 17 or 18 unless you got ur eyes out for the police.
17's all alone were harsh on my car so as im zooded rit now i imagine 18's breaking my rusted bolts off, btw i'm low low about 3"
go for 17's take care of that body, 18 rubber cost more too, im sure u wouldn't be asking questions if u had doe bothering ur pockets.
18's do look chubby but whatever i gotta get to work in one piece

The P45s are a great looking wheel, especially in his width and offset but Rotas are not expensive wheels. They are nowhere near as expensive as the LMGT4 they imitate.

 

18" ?? forgot the name....same drop as below. Tires were 245/45/18

19" ADR Victory....forgot the offset. Dropped on S.Techs with OE replacement struts. tires were 235/35/19

2004 SL 17" same drop as above. Tires are 245/45/17

17x8 Borbet Type M's myself. Got the idea from the Stillen SMX Maxima which used 17x8 Momo Arrows that I couldn't afford. The centercaps really help too.

owned a few sets of wheels and "felt" the limits. i used offset calculator from there. its a good fit but not perect.

glwb... (psssssst, stick with 17" if you are just doing springs... 16" if you are doing coils... 18" are waaaaay to bulky and heavy, lots of lag and tourque is wasted, and gas is lost)

 

That only applies if you buy heavy 18's. Lightweight 18's won't have the same effect, but good lightweight 18's are kinda expensive

Ive been meaning to tell you i think the G35 wheels look a lot better than those other ones.

 

I think so too, everyone else in the world (friends and family included) says otherwise, but I did not get those rims for looks, I can't even use them for meets anymore (well I can, but I won't)... I have these bad boys on em...

 

i'm on some konig 17's 50 profile, they feel ok, but hate the gap!!! looking for some 18 g35's gonna gonna go with 45 pro.... seems like the best setup(looks sick) and don't think i'll need spacers... not sure any comment welcome
