ASA AR1's have some questions

Ok so i am looking at a set of ASA AR1s with tires. They are 17x8 with a stated 45mm offset.
I really like the look and think they will go well with my silver max

Question(s) is this
1: With a 45mm offset at 17x8 forthe AR1 and the GLE rim being a 40 or 42 offset (not sure of and 03GLE rim offset) at 17x7, will there be enough clearance to not rub. Tire size will stay the same as i have at 225 50 17
2. The GLE rims weigh in at 23.8 and the ASA AR1 is 21.2. So there is a 2.6 lb difference. With that weight saving with there be any noticeable difference or is it so little i wont feel anything?

They won't rub since that offset is pretty conservative and high. You might notice the weight saving since its a little over 10lbs.

I have a used set up for sale if you are interested. They are 18x8 and I was running a S-Tech drop with no rubbing. Here are some pics:

the only pic with a drop:

I'm also located in CT so fairly local.
