Anyone ever used these tires? They're cheap, but via google search I have been seeing nothing but great reviews about them on just about every forum. Anyone?

they are great brand new...but when they get some miles on them, they are a loud *** set of tires...i guess primarily because of hard compounds...which translates to less chance of your rims getting bent...thats the tires i had on my 19s...265/30/19s...yea 30s...and i've unfortunately hit some potholes, etc that i never saw coming, not one bend on my wheels when i had them...

sooooooooo...if you're in a pothole infested city and dont mind road noise..too much (ie play your music loud all the time) it shouldnt be much of a problem.

FYI they cut through water like a boss

I had them on my last 18's and LOVED them. If I didn't sell those wheels or bought these new ones without tires I definitely would've got another set without hesitation.

Personally, they weren't too loud for me but I got mine used with plenty of tread. They have good grip on dry road and like phatboislim said they cut through rain real good.

I just got my rims and tires and got Federal 595s on them, 245/40/18.....I love them! I've seen people make fun of this tire and some people say they are cheap. But they are great for the price and I don't notice the noise at least not over the 3" cattback exhaust and my music playing....don't notice it at all. They grip REALLY good in dry and pretty good in the rain too. I was told not to mess around with them in the snow though. I take the truck when it snows anyway.

I currently have these tires on my 09 max. They grip the road great but as they wear road noise is pronounced. just had the noise checked yesterday by dealer, kinda like a grinding sound, thought I had calipers rubbing against rotors but dealer said just road noise.

^YEP....as ranmas mentioned, with exhaust and music, you wont hear it, but if you trying to talk on the phone...its kinda crazy...other than that, especially w/ cutting through water, excellent set of tires
