Sorry to make another one of these fitment threads, but I'm kind of in a bind right now...
I need to buy new rims and want to keep my current tires. I have stock 2001 SE tire size (225/50/17) on stock 2001 SE 17inch rims. The car is lowered on Tein H-Tech springs.
If I get 17x8 rims, offset 32mm Backspacing: 5.78Bolt Pattern: 5-114 Would my current tires still be ok? Guy here is telling me it won't fit but I think he's BS'ing me because he wants me to buy rims that are about $300 more expensive.
Also, can someone tell me what size limits do I need to stay within for my current tires?

You might be ok with that offset using your tires but I can't say for sure?
