Wheel Restore Self Etching Primer

Im restoring my wheels that I bought the curb rash isn't deep it looks more like someone scraped it around the edges but it's still curbed. Many people said to use bondo as a filler but a buddy of mine said to use self etching primer because it's also a filler and you just sand it down. Its the rustoleum brand; anyone have any experience with it? Depending on what I hear I'll go about using it.

Sand, use bondo and self etching primer after. The wheels will come out flawless that way.

What he said. I tried it, with my sub-par painting skills and they came out decent. Don't make the mistake i did and try to use JB-Weld on the curbing. A total b***h to sand. Bondo was a lot easier to work with
