Road Hazard Warranty

Hello,

I am expecting my ContiExtremeContact DWS from DiscountTires sometime next week.

Is it possible to get a "Road Hazard Warranty" from a local shop that mounts and balances the tires or do local stores normally offer such warranty only on tires they sell?

Thanks - Noela

I think at America's tire co you can buy road hazard on tires you get elsewhere.

Get the warranty on the tires from Americas Tire. I believe it is $15/tire. I bought new wheels two years ago from them, still have about 80% thread on them and I got a bubble on the sidewall of one of my tires. Of course, I did not have warranty and now I'm stuck with a useless tire.

(And, I verified their warranty does cover road hazards). The associate told me if I had it, it would have been replaced for free. They call it their "Certificate" crap..

Note: America's Tire & Discount Tire is the same company. Two names for it, for I don't know what reason.
