How heavy is too heavy?

What do people consider as being too heavy for their cars? Looking at a set of 18" wheels that are 23.6LBS. Will it be anchors away, or will they be ok?

Shouldn't be too bad. I've had heavier wheels before.

Ah chris, Thanks for the reply. Friend totaled his car and gave me a set of 18x8 ASA AR3 wheels. They're not the nicest but better than my currently rim rashed to hell rims. (THANK YOU PREVIOUS OWNER FOR WRECKING THE WHEELS) ne hever got around to putting them on, so free 18"? Sure why not.

1 lbs per inch is considered to be the light weight.

Hey, free 18's? Take them for sure. If you feel your car is slower with them, sell them for a profit and be done with it.

I hate heavy wheels.

I have some dyno's showing the effects. But, if that's not important to you, screw it, get 'em and turn a profit.
