Calibrating the speedometer?

Hey everyone i've been doing some research about low profile tires & such, but couldn't get a answer for my last question. Is there ANY way to calibrate your speedometer when going with low profile tires? Seeing how I know for a fact what you go with the speedometer will be off....

I'd also like to know. I think it varies car-car on whether or not you can.

EDIT: It appears you need to replace the speedometer "gear"
