18" 350z on 4th gen what tires to use

I just picked up a set of 350z 18 inch 6 spoke wheels they are all 18x8. My question is should I run staggered tires to make the rear be more flush with the fender? I am thinking to use 225/40/18 up front and 245/40/18 in the back, or should I just get all four in 225/40?? Does anyone have pictures with the wheels on a 4th gen? I am lowered on H&R's and Sensen shocks.

You've already got the staggered wheels, if you run the same size tires you'll have mild stretch...but regardless, you won't want to run the wider wheels in front, so you might as well run two different tire sizes and prepare your anus for when tire rotation time comes... 225/40 and 245/40 should be fine on H&Rs.

The wheels are not staggered they are all 18x8 from the factory but they are stamped front and rear and they run staggered tires from the factory. But that's good to know, I will get the staggered tires installed this Saturday hopefully

whoa.

Well if they're all the same size you have no need for staggered tires in a Maxima.

why did they use staggered tires on non staggered wheels on the 350z then? I want my back wheels to sit as flush as the front ones otherwise I will need spacers, so I am thinking with 225 front and 245 rear it should be pretty close

Because Zs are RWD and can use a little extra grip back there.

A wider tire isn't going to make the fitment more flush. You're going to need spacers (probably 15mm to match the fronts).

Again, run 225/40s all around.

350z 18s on a 4thgen-lugs

Hey I also just picked up a set of 350z 18s off of an '06. I have a 4th gen with stock 15s. Just wondering if anyone has switched these out and would you need longer lugs? Or will it be an easy transition?
Thanks!
