any of you guys ever shipped wheels and tires before? any idea in cost? ive never done it...

any recommendations on what company is reliable with a decent price?

 

fedex has decent rates. i paid about 25 dollars per wheel+tire to be shipped 700 miles (from miami to atlanta)

 

ok so lets say i ship it to new york (2,500 miles away from AZ)
its about 3.5 X the 700 miles from your total shipping miles
lets say $25 per 700 miles.. so im looking at about +/- $90 per wheel/tires..
does that sound about right? but then again it depends on the weight of the package...

 

yea. you need to weigh each wheel+tire plus figure out how big the box is going to have to be (i would recommend shipping each one seperately)

then go to fedex or mailboxes etc. or wherever and ask them how much its gonna cost for 49 lbs (??) in a 24x24x20 box shipped to XXXXX
and they will tell you
