Once removed, before reinsertion. Use a dremel or piece of sandpaper to remove surface rust from the block. this ensures good contack with ground for the new K/S.

I found an easy way instead of disconnecting both ends of the collant pipe, I only disconnected the end nearest the right fender. After, I removed the two bolts that are vertically inserted to hold the assy. of the other end of the pipe down to the block. Then I was able to pull the pipe towards the left fender and pull it up just enough to get to the sensor.
