Seat Belt Pretensioner Fired

Seat Belt Pretensioner Fired
Recently the I30 was involved in an accident that caused the seat belt pretensioners to fire and lock the belts. I found some seat belts in a 98 model I30 at the local salvage yard that must have come from an earlier model Maxima or I30 as those belts do not have the electrical plug to fire a pretensioner.
Here's my question: Once a car has pretensioners from the factory, will belts from a car without pretensioner plugs cause a code or SRS light to be displayed?
Does the pretensioner work on a "fire and forget" method once the SRS controller is tripped, or does the SRS controller expect to detect a specific Ohm resistance from a non-fired pretensioner for the system to be in normal status that will allow it to be reset and clear the SRS light?
