Manzo Headers/Y advice

Anyone have experience / thoughts with the Manzo headers / Y for the VQ30

http://www.ebay.com/itm/380514563327...witem=&vxp=mtr

Anyone try to fit a warpspeed Y to these headers?

I have a brand new warpspeed Y & 3" catback setup and was going to keep the stock headers, but considering replacement

thanks!

dont bother taking off the stock manifolds for those its a waste of time, its maybe a 2whp gain, MAYBE and headers are a b1tch to install so if you are going to spend that kind of time on headers get actual headers. Sell the y-pipe and get a set of long tubes like these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/OBX-RACING-S...7e814b&vxp=mtr

Those will out perform what you are looking at by far. Or if you can find a set of the equal length headers get those. Put some header wrap on them so you can get a little more torque and your good to go.

^couldn't agree more.

Could also hold out for some used Cattman's.

I have these on my car and make sure to get some better gaskets for it. Also you are gonna have use the whole set-up because the y pipe does fit on the stock headers. Like Crusher said go with obx because the manzo is a big headache for the little gains

Well I'll hate to have to say this but OBX is your best choose *If you're looking for HP!!!* I'm interested in trying to see what the real WHP gain is on these eBay headers myself cause I'm sure it's more than 2 whp....I'll be willing to bet that they make more than a Warpspeed Ypipe!

yeah I think it's more than 2whp lol but I did feel a better response but it wasn't anything special.

I originally ordered the OBXs then read a handful of posts about major fitting issues..cutting/welds etc..and cancelled the order

any truth here?

http://aackshunsgarage.blogspot.com/...installed.html

I've had the fortune of encountering 3 different sets of the same aforementioned model of OBX's on 5 different cars, 4 different types of motors. I used the same procedure above on all of em.

Covers everything you need to know about OBX's for a 02-03 on a 95-03....

That's a yes! A yes or no is what you needed! Not the other crap! I installed 2 OBX for other peoples vehicles and both sets were off and needed grinding, trimming, and patience to install....even the collector flange was 2" or more from the cat flange no matter if everthing was loosely fitted or not....The truth is Now that The Best is Gone (Cattman) you either have to buy used Cattman headers or buy the Rest which aren't up to the same performance/durability/reliability/fitment level that Cattman Headers were designed at!!!!
