Need help 96 maxima won't start

I have a 1996 maxima that will not start unless you turn the steering wheel in a certain position , and ideas . My daughter is to drive this vehicle and I can't have this , any idea ? Thank you

Sounds like the ignition switch. This is a known issue in these cars. Sold cost about 30 bucks if you do your own work.

This is not real difficult to to.

Ignition switch is the part name, with a 10mm socket and Philips head screwdriver and abt 20 mins you should be good to go
