Put brake fluid in power steering; need to flush?

Yes, I screwed up.

I accidentally put about 10-12 drops of brake fluid in the power steering reservoir before I came to my senses.

Should I flush the power steering? Or does such a small amount not matter?

just suck out whats in the reservoir if u have not started the car yet and refill with PSF
and it will be fine. even then a few drops should not be that detrimental.

If you have not applied the brakes (as in you have not depressed the brake pedal) the removal of the fluid from the brake reservoir should do the trick.

If you've applied the brakes, I'd err on the side of caution and do a drain and flush.

Brake fluid is corrosive and I'm completely sure what it's affects might be on the seals and internals of the brake master cylinder.
