Spark plug removal?

Spark plug removal?
I know where the plugs are located, but when I took off the bolt and the connector and went to pull out the coils, it doesn't pull out with ease, and I'm afraid to pull too hard and break them.
In all the "how to" guides online it says they just pop right out. Am I missing something here?

Speaking of spark plugs- Does anyone know the part number for the intake manifold gasket- the gasket you need to replace when changing spark plugs. My dealer told me 14010A, and he's selling it to me for $5 and change. I was under the impression this gasket was more like $30.00! Do I have the right one?

This new year I am doing something good to my maxima ( 2004 SE ).
Already purchased Royal Purple Engine oil and K& N oil filter.
Wishlist : to be completed before 2010. Some of these I might get as a x-mas gift
1. Racingline ground kit. Anyone done this ?
2.NGK Platinum tipped spark plugs. I had replaced in my earlier mustang never on maxima. Any precautions or speacial instructions wud be helpful.or do i need to visit a shop ?
3. Is there any wire set for these plugs or just this Coil on Plug
4.The big question again.. KYB struts or Monroe. For Front Monroe is appx $90 each while KYB is $53 each..rear shock absorber KYB $33 and Monroe $25. Is Monroe better than KYB or just the same ? I guess for 04 maxima users only these two choice
5.I have injen cai. so planning for exhaust upgrade. Catalytic converters - all that i saw are not CA legal. Any ideas ? Still deciding on Racingline Y-pipe.
Here I need ur advise...with my little knowledge i guess performane wise..
Header > Catalytic converter > Y-Pipe (or Pipe ) > Mufflers.
Header is too costly for me right now. Not even getting a good source to search for it. I am not going to spend at once for Catalytic converter and Y-Pipe. I doubt if only changing Catalytic converter will gain some performace or only Y-pipe will gain some performance. Pls suggest.
Thank you guys in advance.

From the looks of it, that sparkplug could go another 100,000 miles.
Just about perfect color, very few deposits, looks like there has been minimal wear on the tip and the electrode.
I predict no change in mileage, at least due to spark plug replacement.

Yes, you are right.
Infact the above plug is the best among 6. I have another - may be I can take another pic of that - which looks like slight burnt.
[And I am happy that they were in acceptable condition ]
But yes, these plugs could easily go another few thousand miles.I just replaced it coz I am already in 82 K.

Ok been getting the dreaded P1320 code gonna try new spark plugs but does anyone know which one is OEM the car is at my friends and I want to order them from Advance Auto online so I can take advantage of the online promo code and save money.

You only save like a dollar ordering online iirc and then do you have to wait to have them shipped or can you pick them up in the store? Isn't that code for a bad coil? Doubt changing plugs will fix it...anyway to, answer your q, NGK
