OEM part numbers (54050 and 55240 for 5th gens) are present in the link. Should be a no brainer.
NSHB-CA33F and NSHB-CA33R. $11 for fronts and $12 for rears, available on eBay.
$46 shipped for a full set...this is a great price.

I searched and didn't find anything so my question is.. are these lower strut bars worth it?

Btw djfrestyl, a friend of mine is selling me some lowering springs. I honestly know not a thing about suspension so my question is would these fit with regular strut mounts, and if so how? I could look it up but I like to hear your opinions

Maxspeed springs are on the lower side. If your OEM struts are still good, they won't perform well with Maxspeed and will probably blow fairly soon.
I recommend Illumina's with Maxspeeds. Since you're doing a strut job, it makes sense to do the front mounts and all 4 boots alongside the job.
Separately, just throwing this out there....
You're about 3.5 hours from me. I do installs for org members. Up to you if you want to make the drive. Might be worth your time.

First off, djfrestyl, awesome job answering all of these questions. I've gone through all of these posts and feel like I'm a suspension expert now.
I've got to put new struts on my 01 Maxima and, based on the info here, I'm going to go with H&R springs and KYB GR-2 struts. My question is concerning the KYB part numbers. Everyone here seems to point to 334265 and 334266 as being the proper front struts for my 2001. KYB says to use 334365 and 334366. As far as I can tell, the only difference in the parts is that the latter have a mount for an ABS line for the 02-03 Maximas. Oh, and the latter are $10 more expensive. So, which ones are the right ones for the 2001 or does it matter?

You are 100% correct. The ONLY difference between the two is the way the ABS line mounts.
In 00-01
ABS line mounts using a tiny bracket and a short 10mm bolt. The strut has a small bracket and a nut welded on that bracket to receive the bolt.
334265 and 334266 are correct for 00-01.
In 02-03
ABS line mounts using a round rubber disc in-line the line. The strut has a 'fork' to receive the rubber disc. It just pops in and holds in place, no bolt.
334366 and 334367 are correct for 02-03.
For you, get the 334265/334266 - it's correct for your car and cheaper!

My question is about cv axles. I'm lowered on Tein street advance coil overs. I was slammed very low and my cv axles shook like crazy, send them off to be rebuilt and the passenger side still did it just not as bad. Eventually end up raising the car a good inch or so and had to buy a new $800 passenger side cv axle from Nissan ($500 through a friend working there). Now it's as if that one is beginning to wobble too. I'm tired of this and have spent too much for axles. No one makes a remanufactured cv axle for a non-lsd 5 speed. PLEASE HELP! How can I stop this axle problem? Get custom axles made? Will raxles make me axles? Or am I damned to living the 4x4 life in my a33?

With what you're paying for axles, why not swap the tranny for one with LSD? Then axles are cheap and you can be as low as you want. Since there's nothing wrong with your current trans, you could sell it to offset the new one.

OK guys, I have a dilemma.
Bought my 02 SE about 6 years ago lowered. The ride has always been rough. Not sure if it has lowered springs or running stock (how do you tell?), I just know I have Tokico HP Blue's
Now, I love the stance but the ride quality is TERRIBLE. I feel every bump, crack. My right rear strut is needing replaced so I obviously have to replace both in the rear.I have been battling with getting standard Monroe Quick Struts but don't want to sacrifice my ride height. Any suggestions?

If you are lowered, then you're not on OEM springs. Visually check the springs and look for markings, branding, and color of the spring - this will give you an indication on the type of springs you have installed.
Tokico Blues are not meant to be used in lowered applications - hence the poor ride quality. Since you enjoy the ride height, I recommend you replace the struts.
Before I recommend a strut that is appropriate, I first need to know what springs you are running. Let us know and we'll go from there.

I checked. The springs are red, no visible markings or brandings I could see. I will wipe them off and try to see if there is a marking anywhere. EDIT: Wiped them off, still no visible markings/branding.

Hi djfrestyl,
Do you think this bushing on my lateral link is bad enough that it needs changing? This picture was taken when the rear axle unloaded.

What you can do is upgrade the front sway bar bushings. ES seems to be the route everyone including myself has gone to.

Here's a pic of what the bushing looks like for the dogbone.

Stock seems to be fine, and if you're a non-SE, I don't think that extra millimeter in diameter will make much of a difference to merit changing it completely.

I'd recommend the black carbon items, less possible noise.

meaning the GLE has thinner one for more comfort or something. There is evidently a difference. I bought the black 22mms.
though since i'm replacing the tie rod ends and link end and A ARM and sub frame bushings maybe i should have considered swapping out for the thicker sway bar?

i guess thats why no front end aftermarket kits exist! does the sub frame have to come out for a tranny swap?
https://maxima.org/forums/5th-genera...-sway-bar.html
thoughts on RSB? also are there any performance kits?
EDIT: i have kyb gr2s, h&r lowering springs, front strut brace.
Also has any one ever tried to retro fit IRS on the rear end of one of these yet?

Preferences are mixed on RSB with lowered cars. I preferred without when I was on my progress. Others like it. It makes a huge difference when not lowered.
Anything is possible with enough time and money, but I'd say IRS not worth the money or effort. 5th gens are worth $1-3k nowadays.

Anyone ever install inner tie rod ends??? Ive never done this, ive done the outer before on my other cars but never attempted to do the inners? Any help is appreciated. Shop will charge me $170 to do driver side inner tie rod end, plus rear engine mount. If I can do it myself and get the right tool to do it with that would be a plus.
