considering BRM exhaust

I want/need new exhaust. Thinking BRM. IS stainless steel worth the extra cost?

I have the stainless setup. Totally worth it if you live where it snows a lot and are prone to rust. After 12/13 years, check what your exhaust pipes look like under the car... probably rusted away. Keep this in mind, especially if it's a daily driver.

Stainless streel PLUS MENDRAL BENT PIPING PLUS STAINLESS STEEL MUFFLER

Don't forget and cheap out on the muffler since it will rust

Get ready for some mix and matching parts for optimal drone proofing and such

In the Northeast, yes, it's worth it.

^^

Agreed.
The drone with the pipes alone is pretty heavy, so keep that in mind.

Is stainless worth it? YES, no question about it! Especially if you live anywhere in the "rust belt".

I'm assuming you want to go 3" with high-flow cat and all the options of BRM bring it to $750. That's not the cheapest price. You can go to an exhaust shop and most likely have them make you a stainless mandrel system for less than that.

Far as sound and drone, you will have a good deal of drone with any of those hi-flow resonators they sell + 3" exhaust, even 2.5" will drone pretty good with that resonator. Don't ask how I know, and mine is a full 2.5" from Ypipe back, 3" needs a big resonator to not be loud. The stock resonators in our cars are big mufflers that really take away a TON of sound.

My $.02
