I replaced my trailing arm bushings roughly six months ago. They did tighten up the body roll. I also replaced the garbage rear Stagg shocks with two new Monroe defective units on the passenger rear side. Immediately they would sound like a bolt was loose when going over a bump. I ended up having a separate shop install a no name shock/spring combo which is good on the passenger. Amazon & Monroe did make me whole.
The shocks are quiet now but when I go over a bump the rear feels bouncy. Being the t/a bushings are urethane not liquid filled will it make the ride more bouncy or is my driver rear shock defective as well? Sorry for all the wind lol. Thanks in advance.

No, ES bushing should not cause the rear to feel bouncy. They should force the rear suspension to actually do its job.
Perhaps it just seems bouncy due to having run busted shocks and busted trailing arms. New feeling. I assume if you were lowered you would have mentioned it.

How long since the install? Maybe everything just needs to settle some more?

Left rear shock 3 months, after replacing defective units right rear about a month. Maybe you are right.

It sounds like the struts are no good. Their job is to dampen the bounciness of the strings. Having a cheap or wrong strut will easily cause it to bounce. There's not much else that will.

If it's just the rear, look for the assemblies (strut and spring together) in a salvage yard or U-Pull it yard. They're very easy to remove and install with no alignment necessary.

That's what I did on my wifes high mileage 00 when the rear struts wore out.
I found a lower mileage SE in the U-pull it yard and pulled the rear assemblies for $10.00 each. Installed them in hers and it's been fine ever since. No bounce or strange tire wear.

Went from new garbage Staags to two defective new Monroes. Maybe I diddn't discribe it accuratly. When I go over a medium size hole it sounds like a bolt is loose. It may be my exhaust which the rear moves up & down in a rubber hanger. If not then I am feeling the dampening banging around in another defective Monroe I think.

Especially if you're running a 3" catback, it is possible that the system is not properly installed/secured. I'm just saying that those systems need a great deal of attention when installing new isolators. With how the 3" catback sits, it can sometimes take some finagling in order to avoid the heavier system from tapping things....especially the area crossing over the rear beam.

Factory patched together exhaust lol. The tailpipe area does have alot of travel.
