Transmission seals (front and rear)

Folks:

2000 SE is now leaking tranny fluid out of the right side. Just under the passenger foot area. It appears to be coming down on the front cross member area, where you have those 4 large bolts on the bottom?

Would the right side be the front or rear seal? Or now that I think about it, I suppose it could be leaking around the drive shaft on that side. Trouble is, I origionally thought my Rack and Pinion was leaking because the right side of the rack's boot has oil on it. Yet it is definitely red oil. I'll check levels when it comes back home today (Daughter's car) but I'm 90% sure its tranny..

Thoughts?

Trevor

Sounds like the passenger side axle output seal. Relatively cheap but can be a PITA. Follow the axle shaft all the way into the trans.
