Trying to hear music from my android in my 09 max. Can anyone tell my why my aux port isnt working or what can i buy to hear music

it should work my iphone works fine I believe that is also a compatible platform, worst case get a jump drive and put your music on that and listen I use both because I am too lazy to d load the songs from my phone to the 64 gig jump drive I have

turn up the volume to maximum on your phone and you should hear it through your stereo. i had the same issue with my galaxy s5 where music wouldn't play.
