Im replacing all four speakers with kappas and I was looking at them (curtchfield is wrong they arent 6x9's) and I couldnt figure out how to get the rear deck off to get at the speakers. Also I cant figure out how to get the doors off to get at the front ones. Could someone tell me how to get at the speakers. Thanks Its an 89 with the bose amp thingy in the back.

I'm not an expert on the 3rd gen, but you probably have to remove the bottom of the rear seat and then remove the back of the rear seat to get to the speakers in the rear deck. For the doors, there should be a few screws on the bottom and in the door handle that must be removed. Then you have to pop the clips out that hold the door in place.

there's a post on the 3rd gen forum with the answers..
Micah, you're very close though..
you don't have to remove the bottom part of the rear seat, just 4 screws in the upper part, then the whole thing pops out. remove vents in rear dash, then brake light.. rear deck pops up.
bose system has 6x9 in it, the non-bose uses 6.5".
to remove the doors panels: at the top of the handle, there's a cover that pops out and reveals a screw.. pull that.. look inside the "door lever hole" and you'll see a slot for a screwdriver.. pry that up and you'll see a few more screws.. unscrew all those..
that's all for the screws.. now reach down to the bottom of the panel and yank it loose from the door. unhook the wire for the entry light and you're done.
