I ran a 13.5 @90mph when attempting too high of boost for my stock clutch, and it finally slipped to redline and i had to shut it down and not finish the run.. hence 90mph trap. Is there anyway to compute approximately what i would/could have run ? thanks in advance.

well a 13.5 is in the area of 102+ mph traps. if i were you i would look at other 1/4 times and guesstimate the speed for a 13.5, with a good clutch (ACT) im sure you can clipse between a 13.0 and 13.2

If you had coast to the end of the track and ended up with 13.5@90, I'd say high 12's w/out slicks and mid 12's w/slicks both w/a good clutch. Impressive.....

Man, if I have a 5spd and the money, I would buy your turbo kit in a heartbeat.

How was your run for the first 1/8th mile?

1/8 mile x 1.56 = 1/4 mile time, thats the normal convention. 1.57 multiplication factor is on the conservative side, 1.55 is optimistic, so depending on how good your 1/8th was you can judge by that. Was the first 1/8th mile clean?

Had to be to run a 13.5. I've seen much faster cars shut down around the 1/8th mile mark and coast to worse times.

Now that his car is going in for that clutch it should be intresting to see what he can run, especially is he uses the 245's over the 225.

13.5 @ 90

yeah, extrapolating from the 660' time/speed is probably as good as anything, as neal already posted.

Not sure if you ever posted a dyno chart for your setup or not, but if you have one, email it to me at SteVTECv6@yahoo.com and I'll enter it into CarTest2000 to see what the max potential of your car is.

here it is again speed as you can see has nothing to do with the E.T prime example you ran a 13.5 at only 90 which shows that you had to lift and shift. I dont like using the term shut down or back off when it comes to imports sorry.
once again. you can run at 115mph and still be stuck in the 13's
things that matter are can you drive the car, can you get off the line are you spinning, 60ft times are the key
get the car into the 1.7 to 1.9 60 ft times and see what your ets are.

What kind of a statement is that? Since when does where your car was manufactured have anything to do with lifting off or shutting down early, and what name you give it?

Hey cletus....do your buddies know you waste your valuable time posting in an import forum??? Would you lose your status in the tree house if they did???

The question was what would he have run on THAT particular run had he NOT had to back out of it. Do you have an answer brainiac? If not, go post ***** in a rustang site somewhere. If you do, post it so we can see how totally brilliant you are by making such new earth discovery comments like "lower your 60ft times and you'll get better et's". DUHHHHHHHHH!!!!
