Swap 2 front rims when racing or all 4???
Sup all i have a quick question for all of you when you go racing do you swap all 4 rims or just the fronts?? Right now i have 18 inch mille evo's they are great rims but heavy as hell....usually when i prep my car for the track i replace all 4 rims with my lighter oem 15's...i would usually stick to my normal routine but this can prove to be a pain in the **** sometimes swapping out all four so i was curious if i would loose e/t time with my 18's in the rear and oem's in the front???
thanks in advance,
Jon

I would reccomend replacing only the fronts. The rims on the back should only add like 10-15 pounds to the weight of the car and the back wheels don't do crap it does not matter. Just take the spare tire out the back of your car, and that will make up the weight if you are so worried. My friend runs on donuts in the back as runners and slicks in the front and he says thats the best combo. Its all good!

yeah swapping rims...mmm
drag radials...I am SO looking forward to Fontana...I did my SS brake lines (all four) today and last week I resurfaced my rotors, changed the oil and filter...cleaned off sparkers and plan to get tranny flushed soon before the meet...

Do you guys think I'll see a diffrence
example is when I ran my 225/50/15 drag radials, the change was noticeable that at the end of the trap...I was looking at 100+ mph...my actual trap speed was only 98...so the shorter sidewall affected my perception of the true speed at the end of the 1320...
