84 mph in the 1/8th?? that's pretty fast... you sure that's right? i run high 9's and still get 72 in the 1/8 mi. congrats to ya if it is, just seems a little steep unless you've got some serious boost...

hell yea, that seems high as heck. you must be doing like 7's in the 1/8 mile if you're going 84mph. what mods do you have? turbo? 125 shot?

Thats your problem then.

Think about this, you have added at least another 600lbs to your car of 'dead weight', (saying that the average of all 5 people in the car weigh 120lbs) now your max is pushing the weight of a Cadillac, and you are claiming times that a great majority of Max's can't get with only one person.

Just take it to a track, with a timer; and you will get an accurate time.

that means 125 more crank HP which would be about another 90-100 whp

Do it at a real track. I don't know what you've got done to your car, but with an extra 4 people in the car, say 600lbs, you'd be lucky to be trapping 84mph in the 1/4.

Assuming you're a 5spd, you'd need to be pushing about 300hp and 350tq at the wheels to trap 84mph in the 1/8th with that much weight.
