Launch help

I went to the track about a month and a half ago.
My best time was a 15.724 @ 91.082 mph.
I don't have my slip right now but on all my runs, my 60' was 2.4-2.5
I just could not launch correctly. Are there any pointers you can give me to get a good launch? With everything I got I figured I'd be in the 14's, but no dice. So if you can help in anyway I'd appreciate it.

What type of mods do you have? I usually hold the revs around 2000-2500 and when its green I accelerate while slowly letting out the clutch. It causes the car to only chirp. Problem is that the tracks are so sticky that instead of spinning, you'll end up wheel hopping, which is very bad for your engine mounts.

My technique is to hold the RPMs at around 3300 then slip the clutch aggressively....not exactly popping the clutch or feathering it....more of an aggressive slip.....then as i slip it gas more and more until the gas pedal reaches the floor which i doubt you will even get to do.....becuz first gear is so short...but I have a 96 SE with ACT HDMM....i'd say for a stock nissan clutch do the same technique at about 2800 RPM??? should nail u the same results =)

I have:
y-pipe
custom catback
JWT popcharger with blitz aluminum filter
RVM UDP

I see all these other maximas on the .org do so much better with just a y-pipe or or an intake. Another problem may be I need the 2 front 02 sensors. But that would only be a part of the problem. I probably have to not let the clutch go so fast in 1st gear. I think if I learn to launch I'll get a much better time. Because I make up most of my time in 2nd and 3rd gear.

Now I have a MEVI and I want to go to the track with that on and see what I do. Hopefully I'll launch a little better.
