'03 Auto 1/4 mile time

Elevation = 2100ft.
Temp about 48 degrees
Humidity 30

Car stock except the suspension.

60ft = 2.337
1/8th 9.878
MPH 72.78
1/4 15.336
MPH 90.67

NHRA correction for elevation is:

14.96 @ 92.98 MPH

Tonight was very slick, 60fts were horrible.

not a bad time. THats about right for a stock (engine wise) auto Max. With a lil more practice, you 60' will come down and you should be 14.7xx or so! Oh how I want to hit the track again tho... makes me jealous!

Good job, good times. Nice to drag race with the Max.

Yeah, the 60' is tricky. It's so crucial to get out the blocks good, because it can make the difference between a so-so run, and your personal best. Only through paying attention to how well other cars are hooking, and experimenting, can one get really good at getting consistent good launches.

Im in the same boat, I'm anxiously waiting for the tracks to open around here (April 1). We already have a Maxima meet here in IL. We have 20+ Maxima's attending, should be a treat.
